Version 0.2.1 release

Version 0.2.1 of the English-Chinese dictionary keyboard for Android is available for download on the Android Market Tools category for free. This is a testing version and will expire on 1 February 2011.

New Features
  • 4 new keyboard layouts: Normal key with number, Tall key, Double tap pair-key with number, Long press pair-key with number. Total 8 choices.
  • Options to swop symbol keyboards display order.
  • Smart punctuations. Auto switching of full width punctuation after Chinese characters.

  • Dedicated full stop and comma keys for the Normal key keyboard layout.
  • Minor performance turning.

Bug Fixes
  • Clear the candidates bar after sending message in Gtalk app.
  • Work around to prevent 'y', 'u', 't', 'o' and 'p' keys returning 'i' for the Big key keyboard layout on Android 2.2.
  • Fix the Cap lock and Alt lock of hardware keyboard.

Known Issue
  • The keyboard will be disabled and be replaced by the default IME when external storage is remounted or the machine is rebooted, if it is moved to the external storage on Android 2.2. This is the limitation of the Android 2.2. The issue can be prevented by moving the keyboard back to the internal memory.

  • All features, terms and conditions of the previous version 0.2.0 apply.
